too bad regular weave 6oz s-glass wasn't tested. That's surprising about the two layers of regular weave 4oz s-glass,,heavy. The 3.25 satin is good for applications where one might want some panel strength and are planning on two sealing coats anyway, that's what I used on the interior of a paneled deck.
My backyard abrasion test was scratching with the point of utility knife until I wore through the glass. 3.25oz satin weave does NOT hold up well compared to regular weave 4oz e or s-glass, but it apparently doesn't soak up as much epoxy either.
ok,,now the next bake off test is 6oz non-woven biaxial cloth vs 6oz regular weave cloth
