SS Safety wire
Posted by BobE on Jan 30, 2006
I donna know Laszlo - we use .020" SS safety wire. Usually use a .025 drill bit 'cause it's so hard to find a .020 hole in the wood. Doesn't pull through 3 or 4mm plywood for us. Breaks only a little more often. However your finger tips will suffer. If yer havin' trouble with 18 gauge, man-0-MAN Mac, you don't wanna feel .020"!
