True, Kyle. In fact, it never occurred to me to even think about it until this thread came along.
Heck, the two totally unprotected spools I bought haven't shown the first sign of corrosion, and still look fresh as a daisy after three or four years... and I have to stay on my toes to keep things from rusting in my shop.
