Re: Passagemaker varnish

It's been a long time since I used that finish over epoxy. My recollection is that it didn't have the deep, soft amber of the marine-spec spar varnishes we advocate, and that's what turned me off. More of a hard sheen. And yes, when it goes it turns pale and flaky.
