Believe it! There's the Molaki Express paddleboard race in Hawaii that's 32 miles long and the same guy wins it every year at just over 5 hours. Those are 18-20' unlimited class which are a bit faster than the San O but we were in a sprint race. I know I couldn't keep up the same pace for five hours in my WR 18 although I have done five miles in just over an hour.
I forgot to mention the San O weighs about 23 pounds. I built it as light as possible keeping the fillets small and even tapering the ends of the sheer clamps.
