Thanks for the advice. When I look at it again, I think I will have to crack it. Where the two panels butt togther, one is fixed at approx. 45 degrees while the other one is fixed practically flat. Even if I could get the butt block glued, at the sheer there is no way I could get the panels to match up.
Assuming I do cut, is there any problem regluing the pieces? That is, can I epoxy two pieces that are coated in cured epoxy?
Also, any thoughts on the best hand tool for cutting through the epoxy joint? Would a pull-saw do the trick?
