I imagined putting a temporary plywood deck on, cover it with plastic wrap, then lay the strips over top, like a form. When the glue dries pop it apart, then attach the strip top the same way I would have put on the plywood deck. Seem do-able? I'll find the book before I start. Great pictures of the guillemot!
