Bubbacrawfish is on the money, you can use this as an opportunity to be creative in how you mask the crack. Many hardwood suppliers have wonderfull veneers that can be cut easily into patterns,designs, or even pictures. Glassed and epoxied the design can be stronger than the original. RogerJ
