Okoumefest Day 3

All good things have to come to an end, and today was the last day of Okoumefest 2006. The weather forecasters were wrong about the wind. While not as bad as yesterday, it still kept the sailboats on shore. Not that the boats couldn't handle it, but the last thing CLC's insurance adjuster needs is a bunch of newbies doing the first half of an eskimo roll in a Skerry.

But there were plenty of other things to do and see. In this shot, the eco-tour (led by Nanook of the South himself) takes off across the river. As they slowly sink into the west, we turn our eyes shoreward.
