Re: watertight hatches cl

I have flush hatches with Moby Latches on my just launched WR18. The hatches match the deck contours very well but I still get a little water into the compartments due to my very poor gasket installation. There are significant gaps where the ends were supposed to meet, but didn't.
Sometime in the future I'll redo the gaskets, probably move them from the sills to the hatchs and try the "Frost King" weather stripping from the Big Box building supply store. It would help to put the seam on the peak of the deck instead of the side.
One more thing to check, is the water coming in somewhere besides the hatches?
Happy paddling, MD
