Yes I am happy with them so far although I've not paddled the boat much. I did use 3/16" bungee and have "detuned" the holding force a lot from what they are capable of.

There is a developed technique involved in installing/removing them but it is learned suprisingly fast due the the automatic knuckle rapping feature. Reminds me of my 2nd grade teacher and her three cornered ruler - I still have nightmares about the old biddy.
