Good description Lazlo. Easiest fix is a small skep that follows the curve of the rear hull and doesn't hang down. I put a fixed skeg on my Guillemot after fighting sever weather cocking and it is nearly neutral now. Mine doesn't hang up on the bottom or pick up any weeds or grass.Later. Tony
