Bill,

I can feel your pain, however your situation sounds to be much larger than mine was. For me it happened around the coaming. I was mixing mine in calibrated clear plastic cups. I had mixed many batches and still can�t explain what I did wrong. As I was building my CH17LT in my basement the temperature was in the low 50�s using heat lamps, and space heaters with a tent over the yak I was able to bring the temp into the 70�s for 2 days, but spots were still gooey. I used vinegar and since I was in my basement I sparingly used lacquer thinner, but did eventually get it all off, not a fun job. Good luck, the rewards of completing your yak and paddling it will make this event seem minor.
