In Florida in the swappy areas we use those fiberglass whips with orange triange flags on the top (designed for bicycles I believe) so that Air Boats can see you since the swamp grass is usually several feet high. If they see you they slow down and are usually very conciderate if they don't see you...well could be nasty

Fortunately you can hear them coming.
