Thanks, Tom, you made my day! Can't wait to see this tool in the mail.
It is 250/1000 grit, the good news being the 250. The bad news is the 1000, which I already have from CLC.
But even so, it will pay for itself in a year, given the ridiculous price of sandpaper for the scary sharp method. I learned I could use a metal file in lieu of sandpaper, rolling the Veritas jig right over the file, but my files are all dull now.
If the 250 grit waterstone works well, I will post, and maybe CLC will want to stock this item. Or find an even better complement to their currently marketed waterstone.
