I didnt get to make the last trip out so I dont exactly recall how bad it going to be. In the past I was in f/glass-plastic rented canoes, so I really didnt care too much about the rocks. I think this time I may just rent a canoe and really pay attention to the river level and the rocks. If all seems do-able, next time I take the yak. My major concern is that I get a decent scrape into the wood on the first day and water has the chance to soak in for two days.
