"Frostbiting" in a Skerry
Posted by Wilke Nelson on Oct 2, 2006
I just finished my Skerry, about 3 months later than I had hoped, which means I will probably be sailing in cold weather and cold water conditions on the Chesapeake (near where I live). Does anyone have any experience w/ cold weather sailing in a Skerry? I would plan on wearing all the standard cold water kayaking gear I have (dry suit etc.) but just wondered whether others have sailed the Skerry "off season"
