The wobble is partialy from the natural flex of the Malone cradles and to a very large extent the factory rack on the van. They don't like to make stuff the way they used to. It appears that the Ford racks have an aluminium cross bar and then are attached to the roof rails with some type of plastic brackets. If you shake the boat while loaded it seems wobbly. I guess I will check with Ford, Ha! and see what they think. Maybe I need a whole new roof racking system?
