You guys have been great, thanks for the suggestions. I want kayaks AND canoes/rowboats, I just have to remember that a person can only paddle one at a time! And now I'm kind of jealous he gets to start one before me :)

Can one person paddle a double just fine? is it that much harder than paddling a single? I imagine they'll be a bit less agile, but will the center of gravity and weight be an appreciable difference?
