Alan, do you think a primer is necessary for epoxied plywood? Seems to me that after a couple fill coats and light sanding one can use tinted fill coats with a bit of microballoons to ease sanding and end up with a tougher base for the paint that's a similar or lighter color than primer and requires fewer coats of paint.
