It�s all about the temp. In the summer you may apply the second coat in an hour! Wait until the second coat does not mess up the first. I'd probably hit that first coat in the evening and let it set overnight. The next day see if it�s tacky like tape, if so go for it. If the first coat is sloppy sticky wait a bit. You don�t want to move the glass around when you lay coat #2 down.
