Wow,,12oz on the bottom of a smaller persons boat will be very, very tough. I put 10oz(6+4) on a Ch18 for big people for instruction/outfitter and it never wore through in three yrs use,but that's Chesapeake mud.. If she's light she'll go scooting across round river rocks faster than snot on a graphite hull. I'd still go with two regular fill coats, light sanding then lay on two coats of graphite. If you put on too much graphite it'll rub off like a pencil lead on everything.
