Sorry, no close-ups. Here is a picture that is a little closer. I rienforced that part of the deck with a scrap peice of wood underneath (wishfull thinking). Then just drilled the holes for the rod holder, coated the bare wood with epoxy, and used some stainless harware to hold it in place. The rod holders are open on the bottom so I'm still trying to figure out what to seal them up with.
