Because teh bottom panels meet at a big angle in his area, they are very sensistive to any unevenness in their edges. Perhaps the chamfer is slightly uneven, hence the huckly buckly.

The fix: loosen some of the wires a little, to alow the wood to take up a fairer curve. Yes, here will be gaps in the join, but you will fill those up when you fillet. If the joint is now unstable, you can pack the wide bits with slivers of wood and tighten the wires again. It's worthwhile doing a little fussing around at this stage to get a fair hull.
