Maybe with stainless nails. Use 316 stainless if the boat is for salt water.

I wouldn't personally use a nailer for this, but it would be interesting to hear how it works if you go that way. A smaller gun like a siding nailer might be a little easier on the boat than a framer. I'd use a sequential trigger rather than a bounce trigger and also use a gun with a no-mar tip.
