If I use the nailgun, it would NOT replace the epoxy; it would replace the clamps. I would use 18 GA. and probably very short, 3/8 or 1/2 if I can get them that short. I built a 17 Ches several years ago and just started on a 16LT for my wife. I do a lot of wood working and love the nailgun for tacking stuff while glue sets up. But only if the nails don't show. I am not a purist(but appreciate people who are) but I do consider myself a craftsman.

If I do this I will post a report if anybody is interested.
