Whenever I end glass on a panel, I mask, glass and epoxy then cut the rubbery cloth the morning after epoxy application. On the inside of the cockpit I mask the bottom sides of the shear clamps and cut the glass at the inside corner the next morning. A fill coat or fillet seals the cut.
