This is just my opinion, but it seems if you put on your 2 or 3 coats and then the glass and another couple of coats to fill the weave and all, things are going to get heavy, or heavier than need be. (Wow, if my poor, old English teacher saw that run-on, she'd roll over in her grave!)

The 4 oz glass goes on very nicely, so putting it on in the regular fashion shouldn't create any problems with your schedule.
