You're worried about a sixteenth? Shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure the bottom is fair before fillets and there's a slight chance you might have to shim it with toothpicks. It's not unusual even on a kit to have a flat spot in the middle of the hull that requires a few shims to make fair.
