This brings up the subject of local heating. I have a small shop in a mild clamate. but if I were somewhere cold I would think about putting a tent over the work area. If working with bare wood, it needs to be up to working temperature well before the epoxy is spread. Wood will 'outgas' as it warms up, which will cause bubbles if it happens after the epoxy/glass is on.
