Hey John, you're talking to a guy who uses the same chip brush for the entire boat. A little vinegar followed by soap and water and it's good as new. Why I might even used it to varnish.
The pumps have clear fulid contents. I've taken them apart only to find normal looking resin and hardener inside. I even stretched the springs while I was at it. They pump ok, they just don't return to the ready position very easily. Maybe I'll try pumping vinegar through them.
I did get new pumps from CLC with a recently purchased kit. I'm just not ready to throw these pumps away when they haven't even dispensed a gallon of resin yet.
