Yes, it's at the bottom of the Footbraces and Rudders page linked below. The discs are epoxied to the sides of the kayak. Sturdier than woodscrews, and takes up less room.
Here's a thought though: I seem to remember a kayaking instructor telling me during a rescue class: "If there is no skeg or rudder visible on an upside down kayak, you can quickly tell which end is the bow by looking for the footpeg screwheads."
