It's all personal taste, as you say. Must admit that to me, the puzzle joint looks a little out of place on a bright-finished hull, though the ease of construction might make me change my mind.

If the geometry were "dovetail", rather than something that literally looks like a giant puzzle joint, perhaps it would look more "serious" to my eye.

Just a thought. Don't reprogam the CNC cutter path just for me.
