Woops! Finger got ahead of itself.
Not sure what I can add but an observation I've had regarding this type foam. I have shaped foam w/ a rasp, and was surprised at how little dust resulted from a substantial reduction in the foam. Then I realised--the foam is mostly air ! - so if you grind it up too much in the blender, you will lose that air volume, and have more density. I guess you just need to do smaller pours.
I wish I had read the foam peanut suggestion in the archives before I did my pours with micro balloons.
