Rolling, rolling, rolling
Posted by Rich K on Feb 20, 2007
OK, so I got tired of waiting for the weather to break and 'glassed my CH17 hull this weekend, two coats, just a couple of 8 inch patches of weave left. Anyway, after spending both days and most of the nights babysitting it to squeegee the runs before they set, I had an idea (I think the epoxy fumes got to me about 4am this morning.) On my next boat, how about building a kind of 'kayak rotisserie' to slowly revolve the hull while the epoxy dries? Thoughts from the floor, please.
