Varnishing in the Garage

By next week I will be ready to begin varnishing my 17LT. I was wondering if anyone has experience with steps that can be taken to make an unheated garage more amenable for varnishing (let's assume the outside temperature is at least 50 degrees).

Any advice would be appreciated.
