Half a gallon???? How much epoxy were you using? Keep it small until you get the hang of it. Use like maybe 4 pumps resin 2 pumps hardner. Get the hang of it with small batches then go crazy. I mixed in small plastic cups. The other posts are dead on, you need it thicker. Not like syrup, really thick.
