I stained my deck prior to epoxy. In some areas I sanded a bit close and had to touch up the wood with some dye. Although it took, it didn't take as well as the original dye. My understanding is that the epoxy seals the wood and it may be too late to stain the wood. You may want to look at painting it later instead. There was also a thread regarding tinting epoxy. You may be able to tint the epoxy when you glass.
