Dave has a point. Moving parts can be problematic, particularly skegs and rudders. So any 'bow aero-skeg' would need to be simple and bash-resistant. That would seem to rule out a mini mast and sail. Inflatable, perhaps? Those kites that the kite sailors use have inflatable 'spars', and this thing would not need to be very big. About the size of a hand fan, I'm guessing. Ideally it would be deployed and collapsed from the cockpit, to suit changing courses or conditions.
