Low tech filter w/pic

I think dust is inevitable. Vacuum a lot! But here's my ultra low-tech dust filter: I just stacked and taped a few furnace filters to the back of a 2'x2' box fan. When it gets too dusty for me, or I'm going to varnish, I turn it on for a while. Works pretty well. Occasionally I run the vacuum over the filters, to clean them. The filters cost about $2 for the set of 4, and you can get box fans for under $10 these days. Here's a pic. Good luck!
