Re: hull paint questions

Thanks John...I'm finding it more expensive than I thought to paint the hull...with the can suggesting special hull cleaners and thinning agents (typically $15.00 a pop. I have sanded the hull and thoroughly cleaned it with water. Should I be good to go or should I heed the instructions and wipe down with their cleaning product?
