Front Bulkhead location
Posted by Kyle Lindstrom on Sep 6, 2007
I'm currently building the retired Cape Charles 17. This is one of the first designs of CLC so the instruction manual does not describe every step. The plans just say to custom fit and install the bulkheads. It doesn't tell their location. So can anyone tell me an general distance the front bulkhead should be the rear of the cockpit cutout? I assume it should be about the same for just about every kayak. I'm the average height guy at 5-11". My guess would be about 4'-6". Thanks for all your help guys!
Kyle
