Thanks for the info, Chris. My XM antenna is a pod like yours, but with a fin that is about a third of the height that yours appears to be. (My OnStar antenna is an old analog cell phone style, and is out of the way on the left rear window.) I may be o.k. with the standard crossbar and some padding on it.
The MC 16.5 kit arrived yesterday, and I am reading through the instructions. I hope to scarf tomorrow, and begin stitching this weekend.
