Re: Gel coat repairs
Posted by Larry Roberts on Sep 22, 2007
Thanks for the help guys. The boat was a rental and is only one season old but has had the devil scratched out of the deck, good news is the hull is not as scratched. I would rather be out paddling than tinkering, it's just that winter is on the way and this gives me something to do and learn about. I have a can of dark blue Interlux paint and high fill primer so painting may be the best way to go. I was just wondering about how hard it would be to gel coat the thing. I know the gel has to be covered to set up and probably requires a special gun to spray the wax mix.
