Thanks for the feedback. So far somebody has tried to talk my out of that particular boat? It seems like a good pick due to it's size and weight and open cockpit. Kids always have stuff to take along - fishing pole, cooler, etc. I would think that it could even fit a second kid in the front or rear open section which would be good.

If however anyone is thinking I should be considering a different design than please let me know. When it is completed I will have an 8 year old, 6 year old and 4 year old. That would seem like a nice boat to compliment my Mill Creek 13 but I'm open to change my mind on that if anyone would suggest a different plan.
