MC 16.5 end pour
Posted by Peter on Sep 26, 2007
It's still a ways off, but I am already mulling over various tactics for the end pours of my Mill Creek 16.5. The assembly manual, of course, talks about the dam method. In this case, I'm left with the question; Is the carboard dam removed after the pour cures? If so, I assume the surface of the dam facing the epoxy should be layered in plastic or tape, yes?
Alternatively, I have the facility of easily hoisting up my MC to do a gravity end pour, as I have seen others do. Any thoughts out there as to which method is preferable?
