Thanks George, I know that I needed to seal the underside first. I also planned to first put an unthickened epoxy on the shears clamp so that they soak in a bit then add the thickened epoxy to the shears. The hard part is getting the deck to bend all the way back. I have already test fit the aft deck once with about 4 separate straps. Might need to borrow a few more rachet clamps for the job.
