The deck over-curve thing happened to me too, on my Arctic Hawk, The gap was small, and I only saw it when I put a lamp in the bow compartment and stuck my head in the cockpit. I covered it with a small fillet of thickened epoxy. No one will ever know, unless I blab about it on the web. I was just a little too keen when tightening the ropes that held down the deck. No nails in the A.H.
