Cutting Hatch opening?

I want to have flush hatch openings. What is the best way to cut them out? Any good suggestions? I don't have a bonsai saw as mentioned in the tips. I was planning on using my jig saw with the smallest width blade I could find and then taking my old sweet time to be as straight and possible.

Just put a second coat of epoxy on the deck so now I'm ready to cut the hatch openings. See the link below.
