Not exactly robo-yak, your thoughts had me thinking about battery powered bilge pumps. To some it may open a can of worms, a la rudder/no rudder/skeg/no skeg debates. No denying one can save your bacon when you need 4 hands and 3 feet to paddle, pump, re-attach spray skirt and work the controversial rudder while also working the (optional) foot operated bilge pump in really trying conditions...anyone tried one?
